Realme starts rolling out Android 14 Open Beta for Narzo 60 5G – Times of India

The Realme has started rolling out Android 14 Open Beta update for Narzo 60 5G smartphone in India. If you are unaware, Android 14 brings new features like improved battery life, enhanced PIN privacy and more.
What is the Open Beta Program?
Joining the Open Beta program lets you try out the Realme UI 5.0 update before it’s officially released. But remember, since it’s early software, there might be bugs, and some apps may not work correctly. It’s advised not to install Open Beta on your main phone.
If you are planning to install the Android 14 update on your Narzo 60 5G smartphone, here are the steps you need to follow. It also introduces great new features and APIs for developers like Per-app language preferences, Grammatical Inflection API, Regional preferences, etc. Android 14 updates the system share sheet to support custom app actions and provides more informative preview results for users.
But before that, keep in mind that this is a beta version and may contain bugs and issues. Also, some apps may not work properly after installing the update. So, install it at your own risk.
Ensure that your Realme Narzo 60 5G has a minimum battery level of 60%.
Update your device to the required UI version: RMX3750_13.1.0.505(EX01) | RMX3750_13.1.0.506(EX01) | RMX3750_13.1.0.507(EX01).
Activate Developer Mode by navigating to Settings > About device > Version > Version Number, and tap the version number seven times.
Apply for the Open Beta through the Software Update Application channel. Access it by going to Settings > About device, clicking on the “realme UI 4.0” banner at the top, selecting the three dots in the top right corner, then choosing Beta program > Open Beta > Apply Now. Submit your details and complete the application process.
