BENGALURU: Activists of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (KRV), a pro-Kannada organisation, on Wednesday vandalised several properties and ransacked multiple commercial buildings in different parts of the city during what the outfit had claimed was an “awareness procession” about the mandate for business establishments to prominently use Kannada in their nameboards.
Most establishments targeted were in the Central Business District (CBD), including UB City on Vittal Mallya Road, Lavelle Road, and Ballari Road. However, vandalism was reported on a minor scale from several pockets.
