The release of the highly anticipated Prabhas starrer ‘Salaar: Part One- Ceasefire’ is just around the corner, and thanks to special arrangements by the Telangana government, the wait to watch the film just got shorter.
Latest reports confirm that the government has greenlit plans for the movie to have shows as early as 1 am and 4 am on its opening weekend.
The Telangana government shared a statement detailing its approval for the movie to have 1 am shows. In light of the circumstances, the govt didn’t just allow early screenings but also allowed the makers to hike the ticket fees upto Rs 100 in multiplexes. The statement read, “The government, after careful examination of the matter hereby permits to allow 6th show at 4 am on 22.12.2023 in Telangana state for ‘Salaar’ movie and also hike of rates by Rs 65 and Rs 100 for single screen and multiplexes respectively.”The government also, granted ‘Salaar’ benefit show from 1 am onwards on 22.12.2023 in a select few theatres.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, ‘Salaar’ has already taken the lead in ticket sales and clocked over 5,00,000 tickets sold with still 2 days to go before its release. The movie has also reportedly grossed an estimated Rs 10 crore. This move aims to accommodate the overwhelming demand from fans who are eager to witness the spectacle on the big screen.
Directed by Prashanth Neel and featuring leading stars Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, ‘Salaar’ has generated immense buzz among movie enthusiasts.

As the release date approaches on December 22, visuals of ardent fans forming long queues outside theatres have gone viral on social media platforms.
Despite the unprecedented demand, reports have emerged that the servers of various booking sites crashed due to the overwhelming traffic from eager moviegoers attempting to secure their tickets in advance.
‘Salaar: Part One- Ceasefire’ boasts a star-studded cast, including Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, and Ramachandra Raju in pivotal roles. Originally shot in Telugu, the film will be released in multiple languages, including Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam, expanding its reach to a diverse audience
