Hugh Jackman, the charismatic actor renowned for his role as Wolverine, shared a glimpse into his Christmas Day escapade that took an unexpected turn at New York City‘s iconic Rockefeller Center. Advising fans with a Christmas tip, the 55-year-old actor recommended an early rise for those planning a visit to the celebrated Rockefeller tree.

However, Jackman himself learned a lesson in holiday merriment as he got into a bit of trouble with security at the cultural hotspot.

Documenting his festive visit on Instagram, Jackman showcased his Christmas spirit clad in a stylish blue puffer jacket, trousers, and a beige beanie. The actor meandered through the shopping plaza, capturing the enchanting Christmas decorations on his phone. However, his enthusiasm led him a tad too close to the Rockefeller Christmas tree, resulting in a friendly warning from security.

In his Instagram post, Jackman jovially recounted the incident, saying, “I highly recommend getting up really early on Christmas morning and taking a walk to see the Rockefeller Christmas tree. It’s so beautiful and not crowded at all. I did get in trouble for going beyond the barrier, but the security guard was nice and let me go with just a warning”.
Fans joined the festive banter in the comments, with one cheekily remarking, “Yeah like the security guard is gonna stop Wolverine. Merry Christmas!” Another chimed in, “He let you go with a warning because you’re Hugh Jackman. Merry Christmas sir!”
While the actor’s Christmas escapade brought laughter to fans, it marks his first holiday season since announcing his separation from Deborra-Lee Furness in September. The couple, who had been blessed with nearly three decades of marital bliss, shared a poignant statement with People magazine that reflected on their journey together.
“We have been blessed to share almost three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey is now shifting, and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth”, the statement expressed, shedding light on the couple’s thoughtful decision to embark on separate paths.

Jackman and Furness, parents to two children, son Oscar and daughter Ava, adopted in 2000 and 2005 respectively, now navigate the complexities of co-parenting amidst the transformative chapters in their lives.
