Bobby Deol made the audience go gaga over his performance in Sandeep Reddy Vanga‘s ‘Animal‘. His character Abrar has been receiving positive reviews from all quarters.
However, did you know that Bobby himself wasn’t sure about his performance in the film? Yes, you read that right! In a conversation with Film Companion, Bobby revealed that he had his doubts about his performance, despite receiving praise from the film’s director, Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

Bobby shared a behind-the-scenes story from the making of ‘Animal.’ In the scene where he puts his finger on his mouth, he was given instructions to perform the action and use sign language to convey the dialogue. Bobby accepted the direction and learned the dialogue, practicing it in sign language.

Bobby Deol says he ‘used to feel disgusted’ playing Abrar in ‘Animal’: Here’s what the actor said

Continuing his story, he shared that during the shot where he put his finger on his mouth, it turned out to be a one-take shot, and the crew applauded. Despite feeling pleased, he also expressed surprise at the reaction, as he hadn’t received such praise from fellow actors in his many years of experience. While he was happy, there was a moment of self-doubt, wondering if the applause meant he hadn’t been able to deliver in the past. Despite any changes in his stardom, he emphasized that he never lost the love and support of the audience.

After a four-year hiatus, Bobby Deol made his return to the big screen with ‘Animal.’ The film features an ensemble cast including Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles.
