INDORE: Three people, including a prominent Indore hotelier, were burnt to death and four critically injured after a tractor rolling down the accident-prone Ganesh Ghat jumped lanes and rammed into half a dozen vehicles climbing up the hill road in MP’s Dhar district on Monday night. The pile-up triggered an inferno that engulfed all the vehicles.
“The tractor driver lost control of the vehicle.It jumped the divider and first collided with a truck carrying iron rods and went on to hit a pick-up, two SUVs and some other vehicles. A milkman on a motorcycle was trapped in the pile-up,” Dhamnod subdivisional police officer Monika Singh said.
Dr Jagdeesh Chandra Devda of the Dhamnod community health centre said the bodies of Sahani, milkman Jitendra Jat, and trucker Aizaz Mohammad were completely charred. Four people, who were in different vehicles were injured.
